Los Estados de Medio Oriente han concluido más de 600 tratados de comercio. A fines del 2015, se habían registrado 32 casos de arbitraje internacional que involucran a países de la región.

Turquía ha sido el más activo, siendo demandado en 11 ocasiones y cuyos inversores han iniciado 19 litigios.
