Hasta este año 2023, los arbitrajes de inversión presentados contra Honduras en el Centro Internacional de Arreglo de Diferencias relativas a Inversiones (CIADI) podían contarse con los dedos de una mano. Sin embargo en dos meses y medio, tres procedimientos han sido abiertos (los anteriores Honduras Próspera y JLL Capital), el último el de un concesionario de autopistas: Autopistas del Atlántico.
